Home News Gene writes "Looks like everyone is busy, no new updates. Dan is getting ready to move into apartment then home for a few days. Dave is enjoying new car and motorcycle and working at FSU. Paul and Gloria have been very busy-house and yard-its amasing what they have done. We are busy doing the usual spring fix up and repairs-especially boat. One month of school left- looks like Paul and I will be traveling to our new jobs-I have been moved to The Sanibel School...28 miles...Can't till June in the Keys--fishing. Looks like Washington State in July."

Cruise Travel Gene writes "Tina and I just returned from our cruise to Grand Cayman and Roatan on the NCL "Spirit".Very beautiful ship-Roatan was great. BUT car broke down 25 miles from Paul's house-AAA sent towtruck from Naples?? arrived 2 hours late. Major traffic jam in Caymans-heavy waves made getting back on ship difficult-2 hours late. Gale force winds with 13-15 ft. waves followed us to Roatan. Roatan is probably a place to visit again-this time longer than one day.Very laid back with beautiful water. We snorkeled in a lagoon all by our selves..have great underwater video and pictures for Tina's class.

Events Stuff Tina writes "Normally, hot weather is not what I ask for- but I was hoping to go to Sun Splash water park today with Daniel since I had the day off from school. Yesterday's 4 inch rain has made it damp and the mild cool front is not warming it up soo... New plans. Tomorrow we are driving up to Punta Gorda or better known as Hurricane Alley for the Charlotte County Air Show to see the Blue Angels and various acrobatic teams. Maybe we will do some skydiving if we get the chance. Right...."

Land Travel Tina writes "Gene and I headed to Sebring on Saturday morning to visit with our Cruise and Keys Buddies, George and Kathy Ridenour! The 2 hour trip on Route 27 was a pleasant change from interstate driving. We had a great time catching up with family news, taking a little boat trip on Lake Sebring across the street from their home and enjoying a wonderful dinner of lobster and shrimp. Kathy's homemade cheesecake was so yummy!!We hiked on several trails at Highland Hammocks State Park Sunday morning- saw plenty of Hurricane Charley's fury! "
