Family News We spent 4th of July in Siesta Key and had a wonderful visit with Paul, Paul Andrew, Alexa, Gloria and her family. Several of the grandmothers put together a scavenger hunt which the grandchildren really enjoyed. Unfortunately, jellyfish moved in from offshore thanks to Tropical Storm Debbie which had moved through the area the previous week. Fortunately, the sand which is so wonderful here makes for great sandcastle building and kept the children busy. Many professional sand sculptures also dotted the beach which were truely amazing! My favorite was the octopus. The July 4th fireworks were fantastic and the paper lanterns we saw were so beautiful to watch as they drifted upward into the night sky. What a nice contrast to all the pop, boom, and bang!!!
